PFC BRAKES powers performance and innovation across IndyCar

PFC Brakes continues to push the boundaries of performance, safety, and engineering precision. In the coming months of 2025, we’re bringing IndyCar fans and teams even closer to the action with detailed brake data shared before every race—highlighting insights like peak temperatures (°F), peak deceleration (G), lap percentage spent on brakes, and total brake energy used (kWh) per race. This initiative brings a new layer of understanding to how brake performance shapes race outcomes and strategy.

PFC is ramping up, and we’re excited to roll out engaging visuals, up-to-date data sheets, and in-race imagery to showcase our products in action.

RACING HIGHLIGHTS:

PFC Brakes is proud to announce that we are the official brake supplier for the NEW Tatuus F3 Regional Generation II T-236. This all-new car represents a huge leap forward in single-seater technology—blending enhanced safety, aerodynamic innovation, and refined driving dynamics for future motorsport stars.

The T-326 is designed to deliver superior performance, higher safety standards, and technical solutions aimed at improving the driving experience—making it easier and more refined to support the development of young drivers climbing the motorsport pyramid.

From an aerodynamic perspective, the car features a fully redesigned shape, developed in accordance with the new FIA technical regulations for the category and inspired by the latest trends seen in the higher tiers of Formula racing. The result is an overall increase in performance, greater aerodynamic efficiency, and a reduction in wake effect to facilitate overtaking conditions.

Our collaboration with Tatuus spans decades, including projects like Formula Renault and the USFPro series. The T-326 brake package continues that legacy, equipped with:

  • ZR108 4-piston monoblock aluminum calipers
  • PFC’s V3 floating rotor system
  • Patented slot pattern rotors
  • New-gen brake pads (specifically developed for the single-seaters)

“We are delighted working with Tatuus in the new F3 Regional Gen II as sole brake supplier. We have been working together for many years in many different projects”, said PFC’s Director of Global Motorsport, Luis Maurel. “We designed a specific brake package for this new single-seater which includes our latest generation brake calipers, our innovative V3 brake disc assembly system and upgraded race brake pad compound. We are working together in many different FIA flagged championships and can't wait to see this new car in the grid ready to race!!"

Even Operations Manager at Tatuus Racing, Leonardo De Bellis, commented “As a Race Car Manufacturer we daily face multiple challenges: to do so with the support of trusted partners like PFC means to start from solid basis and to be able to deliver solutions in record breaking timings.”

PFC NEW GLOBAL WEBSITE LAUNCH:

To better support our worldwide audience, PFC Brakes will launch a completely redesigned global website, merging the US and European platforms into a seamless digital experience.

Here's what's new!

Updated PFC Timeline

The company timeline highlights some of our achievements over the past 40 years. Check out what achievements we’ve made lately!

The dealer location covers over 1,400 PFC world distributors, along with a contact form. The form can also be used for specific enquiries.

The WebCat tool contains our street and motorsports applications, where you can search by Year / Make / Model or Make & Model for your vehicle.

This includes hundreds of product line drawings and photographs, along with full street product data (FMSI number, UPC / barcode, fittings, weights and dimensions). The part number can be searched with or without dots.

Motorsports pads have a brief compound description to help choose the best pad for the intended application. There is a “Request a quotation” button to create a list of part numbers, which is then sent to PFC staff to give price, availability and nearest dealer details.

There is a direct Instagram feed on the website, so that entries appear automatically on the homepage, as well as a News section for event / product announcements.

The layout of the NEW PFC Brakes website is more intuitive, with sections to find company and product information quickly. PFC Brakes is doubling down on its commitment to innovation and accessibility with this launch of a newly redesigned global website. This digital upgrade supports PFC’s mission to deliver high-performance braking solutions while engaging more closely with its worldwide audience.
