PFC Brakes: Leading the Charge in Motorsports performance

At PFC Brakes (PFC), we continue to lead the way in motorsports, strengthening our role as a trusted partner for teams and drivers worldwide. That is why we are bringing you updates on the Formula Series, IndyCar, TCR, Rally Expansion, USF Championship Series, and our newest compound formulations.

Partner Updates:

PFC Brakes is pleased to announce that we will remain the official brake supplier to the INDYCAR Series! We will continue supporting every stop as the series transitions into its next era. PFC Brakes will be featured on the new car launching in 2028, ensuring peak performance for the most demanding race in motorsports.

INDYCAR President J. Douglas Boles stated, “The time has come for a new NTT INDYCAR SERIES chassis”. With recent significant updates to the car – from the aero screen to the hybrid power unit – the push for a completely new car is underway. PFC Brakes once again will be the exclusive supplier for the series, as it has since 2017.

Furthermore, PFC Brakes and USF PRO Championships managed by Dan Andersen Promotions have extended our agreement to 2030.

The USF Pro Championship Series offers drivers valuable opportunities to gain experience on and off track while following a clear-cut path of progression through three development series: USF Juniors, USF2000, and USF Pro 2000. PFC Brakes has been the complete brake supplier since early 2020, and we are very proud to renew our agreement with Andersen Promotions. The next generation of IndyCar drivers will follow in the footsteps of Kirkwood, Herta, O’Ward, Rosenqvist, and other great drivers who started with the USF PRO Championships.

Just as important, PFC is pleased to announce that we are the exclusive brake supplier for the new Tatuus T-326 F3R Gen 2, used in various FIA F3R championships. Born from the same core values that have defined the Tatuus legacy (performance, safety, and reliability) the car is designed to support the development of young motorsport talents.

Full technical details will be revealed in the coming months, following the completion of the FIA homologation process (this fall). The debut of this new car in competition will be in the Formula Regional Middle East Championship. The complete brake system is the latest generation from PFC Brakes.

Additionally, PFC will continue as the official brake supplier and partner for the Eurocup-3 and F4 Spain championships in 2026.

F4 Spain will continue with the existing car, the Tatuus T-421, and Eurocup-3 moves to the extremely fast Dallara 326. These championships, along with the Spanish Winter Championship Series, will be equipped with our PFC brake pads and brake discs. PFC has been a proud partner, since 2019, with more than 70 drivers and the best teams worldwide.

JRD Motorsports rally car.

PFC Brakes will serve as the official brake supplier for the all-new rally car being developed by JRD Motorsports. This includes our complete brake package, specifically designed for competitors in the ARA Rally 2 Championship. The exciting new car will be showcased in our booth at PRI, allowing fans and drivers to get a first look at the engineering and performance behind JRD’s next rally contender. To top it off, rally legend Marcus Grönholm will test the car following its completion.

What’s New With PFC Racing Compounds ?

PFC technology is at the heart of the fight for the Touring Car Racing (TCR) World Title, supporting Esteban Guerrieri, Honda Jas, and Cabra Racing in their championship battle. Australia was the most recent stop on the calendar, where Honda JAS / Cabra Racing secured a strong podium finish. With his Honda Civic TCR on PFC Brake Pads, Esteban remains firmly in the fight for the World Championship as the season continues. In one of the most demanding sprint race championships for braking, PFC’s 40 compound is proving its strength. Our drivers love its sharp initial bite, smooth release, and precise control!

The 68 compound is our newest and most popular street/track day offering in the PFC lineup. This compound has incredible cold bite and even better mu with extreme temps. Offering a smooth release and responsive pedal for pushing the limit. 68 is quite on brake application with very low, noncorrosive characteristics. This pad is the ultimate option for street driving and high-performance track days.
