Nacho Pascual, started at the company in early 2023. After finishing his degree in Industrial Engineering studies at IQS School of Engineering in Barcelona, Spain, he gained experience in the automotive and pharma fields. Then he decided to specialize in his passion, Motorsports. He enrolled in QEV Technologies Academy to attend the Motorsport & e-Racing Engineering master’s degree, where he acquired the knowledge to perform as Development & Race Engineer in the FIA World RX Championship for the first RX2e full-electric season and other European championships, such as Clio Cup or TCR.
At the beginning of 2023, Nacho received a call from PFC Brakes Director of Global Motorsports, Luis Carlos Maurel, giving him the opportunity to join the European team as Technical & Development Sales Engineer. Nacho said, “It is a great opportunity for me to focus and apply all the knowledge obtained throughout my different engineering experiences to contribute to the design, development, and improvement of the different Motorsport products that PFC Brakes offers to different important customers around the world as IndyCar, NASCAR, F3, F4, GT.”
When asked about his favorite part about working at PFC Brakes, Nacho said, “I would say the TEAM with capital letters. The energy I felt in the office and the great relationship between the employees is essential to perform in our daily basis. It is inspiring to carry out ambitious projects surrounded by such nice and professional people.”
Outside of work, Nacho enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends or practising sports. Competing national Padel championships (the trendy sport in Spain is a mix between Tennis and Squash) and practicing some other sports like hiking with his partner and the dog or scuba diving. Of course, he enjoys watching road racing (Indy, F1, WEC).
