PFC Brakes Announces Leadership Transition
CLOVER, S.C. — PFC Brakes, a global leader in high-performance braking systems for motorsports and severe-duty applications, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Janech as President.

With an extensive background in the automotive industry, Janech brings decades of leadership experience and expertise to the PFC Brakes leadership team as the company continues to expand its global presence.
As President, Janech will guide the company’s overall strategic direction, overseeing business operations, financial performance and organizational development. He will work alongside the executive leadership team to strengthen customer partnerships, identify new opportunities for growth, and support continued innovation across PFC Brakes’ Motorsports, OE and Severe-Duty divisions.
As he steps into the role of president, Janech said his focus will be on advancing innovation while strengthening the company’s commitment to its customers. Janech added, “Performance Friction has such a deep entrenched legacy in helping the industry run faster through braking. As a global leader in high-performance brake solutions, it’s beyond comprehension to be considered in a leadership role to pave new pathways and technologies beyond what we have already achieved. Our focus and strategy is simple, “Never give your customers a reason to leave”. We will work harder toward that strategy and will become a technology generator resulting in meaningful patents that improve safety, technology and help shape the braking trends of tomorrow”.
Mary Ann Burgoon, CEO and Owner, said, “PFC is thrilled to welcome Chris Janech as the new president of our organization. Chris is a proven leader with a remarkable track record of operational and strategic growth leadership in our industry. Burgoon continued, “We are excited to have him on board to work with our exceptional team to advance our engineering capabilities, invest in smart braking technology and reinforce our commitment to safety, quality and no compromises as we support the future of mobility”.
Denny Gaylor, manager of special projects for quality, said, “Chris brings a unique understanding of our products, processes and philosophy. He is dedicated to continuous improvement and company growth. We look forward to his leadership in this next chapter of PFC success.”
