Hy-Vee IndyCar race at Iowa Speedway won by Will Power.

Sunday’s Hy-Vee One Step 250 presented by Gatorade was Power’s 43rd career win, and his 19th try to take victory at the short oval near Des Moines, Iowa.
Power started from 22nd position, but tracked down Alex Palou, pursuing him for 104 of the 114 laps. The second pit stop made all the difference, and Power won from Palou by 0.3915 of a second.
Six races remain in this year’s NTT IndyCar series, with Alex Palou 35 points clear of Will Power.
The teams move to the streets of Toronto next weekend (July 19-21), with the 1.786 mile temporary circuit offering several chances to go for the overtake.
