PFC Equipped Newgarden wins the Indianapolis 500
Josef Newgarden won the 107th running of the Indianapolis 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Newgarden started the race in 17 before driving to victory in the No. 2 Shell Team Penske Chevrolet. Two-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion Newgarden passed the No. 8 of Marcus Ericsson on the last lap to secure his first career victory in the Indianapolis 500.
The next NTT INDYCAR SERIES race is the Grand Prix of Detroit on Sunday, June 4 on the streets of Detroit.
