RACING UPDATE: PFC’S LATEST NEWS IN MOTORSPORTS!

The racing season is officially underway, with an exciting start across many top championships. As always, PFC Brakes is proud to support some of the most competitive series in motorsports. The following championship series are preparing to kick off like the FREC, GB3, F4 UK, F4 US, F3R US, F4 Brazil, Eurocup-3, and F4 Spain!

PFC BRAKES X TATUUS DEBUTS:

PFC Brakes continues to serve as the official brake supplier for the Tatuus T-326 F3R Gen 2, supporting the next generation of FIA Formula Regional championships. Built on Tatuus’s legacy of performance, safety, and reliability, the platform features the latest generation of PFC braking technology.

The chassis debuted recently in the FRME (Formula Regional Middle East) trophy, sporting PFC Brakes full brake package. The championship consists of four (4) action-packed races starting at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, transitioning to the Dubai Autodrome in Dubai, and then the final race at the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar.

Kean Nakamura-Berta secured the Driver’s Championship title in the final race of the season, while also claiming the Rookie Cup. His success helped the Mumbai Falcons Racing Limited team defend its championship title.

INDYCAR and Short Track:

PFC Brakes introduced the new INDY500 small-bore brake calipers during IMS testing recently, in which drivers showed great confidence with the upgrade citing responsive brake feedback due to a stiff pedal. This new product focuses on the removal of any heat or drag from the system to allow for the maximum speed to be achieved.

In our short track market, PFC Brakes is continuing to innovate with new caliper designs. We are adding four new models, all aimed at setting a new standard in braking. The 41 compound was released for the ZR94 caliper and has made numerous appearances in victory lane around the country. This is currently the highest friction pad compound that PFC offers and was a significant step-up from the 39 compound in both heat tolerance and disc conditioning. The 41 compound is now available in all popular, high-demand applications.

PARTNER UPDATES:

PFC is proud to continue our partnership with SRI Performance as the official NASCAR supplier, along with the newly announced partnership with European racing series, TCR Europe, for the 2026 season.

TCR Europe was launched in 2016 and evolved into a fully-fledged international series in 2018, succeeding the FIA European Touring Car Championship/Cup as the major touring car championship across the European region.

The arrangement between TCR Europe and PFC Brakes will see a special incentive for PFC Brakes customers in the series called Challenge PFC Brakes. In addition to a product discount, any driver competing for a team that’s using PFC Brakes will receive a free set of pads following any race victory during the course of the season.

MARKETING UPDATES:

PFC’s marketing department has been working on a few helpful product application guides, one of which is the BMW F and G series catalog. This catalog was developed as a comprehensive technical guide to PFC’s braking solutions for modern BMW performance platforms. It details pad fitments, rotor assemblies, and specifications across multiple models, while highlighting the precision engineering behind PFC’s new Track Day Kits. It was created for BMW enthusiasts seeking top-tier performance on both the road and the track.
