After winning the Hy-Vee Homefront 250 presented by Instacart, Scott McLaughlin has declared himself an IndyCar driver.
The whole Team Penske Chevrolet crew contributed to McLaughlin’s victory, leading the last 164 laps.
Recovery of the race went to Santino Ferrucci, who (while in fifth place) was given a stop-go penalty for a restart infringement. Having dropped to 22nd he then clambered back up the results table to finish a very creditable sixth.
