09.11.2020, Inaugural Freedom 300, Lee Speedway, RI
For the second time in six days, PFC Equipped Derek Griffith held a $10,000 check in victory lane. Griffith took an early lead from Eddie MacDonald and never looked back on his way to winning the inaugural Freedom 300 at Lee Speedway. Just five days prior, Griffith also bagged 10k at the Inaugural Granite State Nationals at Claremont Motorsports Park. After starting seventh, Griffith methodically worked his way to the front during the early stages of the race. Ultimately, Griffith tool the lead on lap 28 and lead all they way to victory lane. Jokingly after the race Griffith told Speed51, "It's been a good couple of weeks. Big checks, I like big checks." Griffith will be back in action this weekend at Star Speedway in Epping, NH.
