PRODUCT UPDATE

PRODUCT UPDATE

We understand that it may not always be necessary to change your rotors during a brake job.  However, in many heavy-duty brake applications you may notice a ridge or lip on the outside and inside diameter of the rotor. These ridges are formed due to the absence of friction material on the outside and inside edge of the rotor.  PFC has identified this issue and modified a few of our air disc pad part numbers to avoid issues that may be caused by these ridges.  PFC's 1369.12, 1311.12 and 9174.12 now feature chamfers on both the top and bottom edges of the friction to avoid interference or damage caused by these ridges.   The chamfers also allow for 100% contact between the pad and the rotor for maximum performance.
