Driver Chris Madden conquered Screven Motor Speedway's World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series Winter Freeze event with a victory.
In this 50-lap feature event, Madden held his own and made a daring but victory-winning move when he passed leader Tyler Erb on the 45th lap of the race.
"Obviously we're feeling good," said Madden. "We are in the south and now we are headed to Volusia. We run really good there."
Madden was spot on too, and charged into Victory Lane at Volusia Motor Speedway in Monday's DIRTcar Nationals Late Model Feature. Madden took the lead from Brian Shirley on lap 13 and never looked back.
"We got a good restart and then we were able to get out in the clean air and we had a pretty good car tonight," said Madden. "It was too tight for the first 10 or so laps but overall we had a great race car."
The winning No.44 Late Model Dirt Car is fitted with PFC's ZeroFailures™ discs and CarbonMetallic® pads.
